June 7-12, 2025 (5 days)
YOU ARE INVITED TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IS GOD CALLING YOU?
The ORC Chapel Mission team is planning our next mission trip to Casa Bernabé orphanage in Guatemala, home to 100 children, from June 7-12, 2025. People choosing to go will serve as the hands and feet of God to people who need it. Anyone is welcome and whether you are young or old, active or not, there is work for you to do! Even if you are unable to attend, your support would mean the world to us and Casa Bernabé.
We will be doing several things on this trip while in Guatemala:
First, we will serve the kids at the orphanage, helping with all the things that it takes to run a system that cares for 100 children!
Second, we will take a picnic lunch to a poor church community across the street from the orphanage.
Third, during the week, we will do small projects at the orphanage as well as classes if we can. We have been bringing classes of some kind to Casa Bernabé and it is always the highlight of our visit for everyone involved.
Fourth, we will help build a small house for a family at a poor community next door. These houses go up in one day and are an amazing blessing for the family who gets one. Cost is only $850!
Casa Bernabé is located 45 minutes outside of Guatemala City. The mission team is picked up at the airport by bus and delivered to the 13-acre walled-in campus that they call home. We will NOT be trolling around dangerous parts of Guatemala, and nobody will be out alone on our trip.
Approximate Cost for Travelers:
Plane ticket: +/- $500
Room and Board: $65/night
Activity/transportation fee: $90

Another successful trip in the books. We were able to accomplish even more this time! Our team completed a variety of projects and volunteer work both on-campus and off. Our passion has been infectious in recruiting volunteers to join us and this time we had 14 youth!
Our June 2018 Mission Trip was probably one of our most successful trips yet! The devastation of the Fuego Volcano only allowed our team to see our mission more clearly. Our team completed a variety of projects and volunteer work both on-campus and off. Our passion has been infectious in recruiting volunteers to join us. This trip even included celebrity visits from Carlos Ponce and Alex Mijares!
