January 2018 Mission Trip

 The ORC Chapel Mission Team prepared for their trip to Casa Bernabe orphanage in Guatemala. For one week, team members from our community went on a mission to help and teach children who have been abandoned, but not forgotten. 100 children live on campus and another 180 go to the school from neighboring poor communities. Through child care and education Casa Bernabe is breaking the cycle of poverty one child at a time. And we are helping them! No mission trip is the same; projects completed during each trip are based on the evolving needs of those children.
